About the role

Moniepoint is seeking a senior‑level data professional to lead high‑impact machine learning initiatives. You will work at the intersection of data, product, and engineering to turn complex datasets into actionable insights that drive business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver end‑to‑end data science solutions that support product innovation and business strategy.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and influence key decisions.
• Develop and deploy predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning and statistical techniques.
• Design A/B tests and causal inference studies to enable rapid learning and informed decision‑making.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business leaders to translate goals into data‑driven solutions.
• Build dashboards, tools, and frameworks that promote self‑service analytics across teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist in fast‑paced or high‑growth environments.
• Strong analytical and statistical background with fluency in Python or R.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with large‑scale data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Solid understanding of experimental design, hypothesis testing, and causal inference.
• BSc/MSc/PhD in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or similar.
