Manager – Dakar Representative Office

About the role

Lead the United Nations Federal Credit Union’s (UNFCU) operations in Senegal, overseeing the Dakar Representative Office. You will ensure compliance, deliver exceptional member service, and grow the credit union’s presence within the United Nations community.

Key responsibilities

• Uphold UNFCU’s mission and values by providing outstanding service to members and colleagues.
• Hire, develop, train, coach, evaluate and motivate office staff to achieve high performance.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and UNFCU policies.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and coordinate office services.
• Monitor sales results, conduct coaching sessions and track employee productivity.
• Identify training needs and coordinate staff training with the Global Retail Training Team.
• Design and implement policies, procedures and workflow improvements to increase efficiency.
• Maintain communication with senior management through regular reports.
• Assist in security management for staff and office premises.
• Build and sustain relationships with United Nations organizations, vendors and competitors to support business growth.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a financial services or credit union environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and internal policy enforcement.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with members, United Nations entities and external partners.
• Ability to manage office operations, vendor contracts and security considerations.
• Experience in sales monitoring, performance coaching and staff development.
