Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

IDinsight is seeking experienced managers to lead client advisory projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to organizational growth in Dakar or Rabat.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders in governments, foundations, NGOs, and socially impactful businesses.
• Lead all elements of advisory and evaluation projects, including design, analytical oversight, and delivery of high‑quality materials.
• Manage project administration, staffing, timesheets, and change management processes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Associates and other team members.
• Design and manage project budgets, ensure funder compliance, and identify financial risks.
• Contribute to IDinsight’s organizational development, client engagement, and potential new office openings.

Required profile

• Deep passion for improving lives worldwide.
• Advanced degree (preferably public policy, economics, public administration, or business).
• 4‑8 years of relevant experience with managerial responsibilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with senior decision‑makers.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate staff in a dynamic, diverse environment.
• Strong critical thinking and nuanced understanding of data and evidence tools.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a start‑up setting and takes ownership.
