About the role
Everllence, a global leader in propulsion, decarbonisation and efficiency solutions for the marine and energy sectors, is seeking a Managing Director for its Senegal operations. The role reports to the Everllence Board and is responsible for implementing the group’s strategy at the country level, driving growth, and representing the company with customers, regulators and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a country‑level business plan aligned with global and regional strategies to achieve sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
- Own the full P&L for Senegal, delivering revenue, profitability and margin targets through disciplined pricing and cost management.
- Ensure operational excellence by optimising processes, technology and internal controls while maintaining compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Lead the local management team, fostering a high‑performance culture that reflects Everllence’s global values.
- Act as the senior executive interface for key clients, strengthening relationships and driving commercial outcomes.
- Represent Everllence with government bodies, regulators and other stakeholders, protecting and enhancing the brand.
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships and growth initiatives to expand the business.
- Lead crisis response and business continuity planning to safeguard people, operations and reputation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the marine engine industry, preferably in general management or senior commercial roles.
- Proven track record of P&L ownership, strategic execution and market leadership.
- Strong knowledge of local regulatory, legal and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
