MEA Module Sales Manager – Senegal

About the role

The MEA Module Sales Manager will lead Trina Solar’s commercial activities in Senegal, building strong customer relationships and driving market expansion for solar modules. This role combines strategic planning, hands‑on sales execution, and cross‑functional coordination to achieve growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with local customers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to enter new markets.
• Organise and participate in conferences, trade shows, training sessions and other industry events.
• Acquire deep product knowledge of Trina Solar solutions and present them effectively to customers.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including pricing negotiation, contract closure and revenue collection.
• Lead tender bidding processes and coordinate legal, technical and commercial documentation.
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Liaise with internal teams and customers to resolve inquiries, issues and complaints.
• Monitor and report competitor pricing, activities and market strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including a customer‑facing role.
• Prior experience working with Chinese factories or in a Chinese manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry, product or project sales, and tender management.
• Strong background in utility‑scale PV projects is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Business, Finance or Engineering.
• Fluent in English and French.
