O&M Field Engineer – Kolda

About the role

Renvolt is expanding its operations in Senegal and seeks a skilled O&M Field Engineer to support the Kolda site. The role involves fast on‑site and remote troubleshooting, maintenance of photovoltaic power plants and high‑voltage substations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide rapid on‑site and remote troubleshooting and implement fault recovery solutions to restore production.
• Carry out specialized technical maintenance, commissioning, start‑up activities and technical assessments on photovoltaic plants and HV substations.
• Produce technical reports, documentation and evidence for claim processes and maintenance management.
• Deliver training workshops, disseminate best practices and contribute to reliability studies and failure analysis.
• Support the development and audit of maintenance processes, ensuring adherence to company health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Degree or Master in Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Electrical) with experience in HV substation maintenance.
• Proven experience in commissioning and maintaining photovoltaic power plants.
• Ability to perform physical site work and obtain a medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Senegal driver’s licence and advanced English proficiency.
