Operations Specialist – West & North Africa (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Operations Specialist will ensure smooth, compliant and cost‑effective daily operations for IDinsight’s offices in Senegal and Morocco. Reporting to the Office Leads, the role supports project teams, finance, people ops and legal functions across the West and North Africa region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day office administration, travel support, vendor management and office services for both locations.
• Coordinate people‑ops processes across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, engagement and off‑boarding.
• Maintain accurate HR records, documentation and audit‑ready procurement and contracting files.
• Partner with Finance to ensure smooth monthly closes, expense hygiene and audit readiness.
• Ensure local compliance in Senegal and Morocco for employment administration, benefits and statutory registrations.
• Implement tools and automation to reduce manual workload and improve service quality.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in recruiting, people operations, HR or administration, preferably in an international or multi‑stakeholder setting.
• Strong organisational abilities, sound judgment with confidential information and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience working in diverse, cross‑cultural teams and alignment with IDinsight’s mission.

Required skills

• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System.
• Familiarity with HR and collaboration tools such as BambooHR, Lattice, Unit4, Asana or Slack.
