Operations Team Leader – Economic Infrastructure (Dakar)

About the role

Reporting to the Head of the Hub, the Operations Team Leader will oversee a portfolio of transport, energy, telecommunication and related economic infrastructure projects in Senegal. The role ensures projects are delivered within approved scope, schedule, budget and quality, supporting the Bank’s mandate for socio‑economic development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of infrastructure projects and technical assistance assignments.
• Supervise and provide day‑to‑day technical oversight to Project Managers.
• Lead project appraisals, quality reviews and progress reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Contribute to the preparation and clearance of tender documents and contracts.
• Identify and mitigate risks across the project portfolio.
• Provide technical support for shaping the Bank’s regional strategy and analytical work.
• Maintain data entry and system management within the Bank’s Project Management Systems.

Required profile

• Experience in managing infrastructure projects, preferably in transport, energy or telecommunications.
• Proven ability to supervise project teams and coordinate with sectoral leads.
• Strong analytical skills for project appraisal and risk mitigation.
• Familiarity with Bank‑type procurement and operational policies.
