Procurement Technician – Logistics & Purchasing

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our procurement and logistics processes. The role supports project teams and collaborates with planning, technical, financial and production departments to maintain high standards of quality, cost and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate demand forecasting, contract management, purchasing, export and import activities.
• Oversee transportation, goods delivery and inventory management to meet project timelines.
• Plan and monitor interactions between internal teams and external suppliers or service providers, minimizing risks and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Ensure the department follows company policies, methodologies and financial indicators.

Required profile

• Technical or higher education in Management, Procurement or Logistics.
• Experience in mining projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics and related financial metrics.
• Proficiency in French and English.
• Leadership, results orientation and strong analytical abilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
