Project Coordinator for Digital Learning Partnership

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a qualified consultant to serve as Project Coordinator for the Airtel Africa partnership in the West and Central Africa Regional Office. The role supports coordination and implementation of a multi‑country digital learning initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day coordination of activities across UNICEF regional and country offices and Airtel Africa teams.
• Track implementation progress across six partner countries, ensuring alignment with partnership goals and timelines.
• Facilitate joint work planning sessions, co‑creation workshops, and technical meetings.
• Coordinate with UNICEF’s Giga and Learning Passport teams to align digital learning and connectivity components.
• Draft a white paper on expanding the connectivity partnership to out‑of‑school children in phase 2.
• Update and maintain monthly KPI reporting documents and dashboards, consolidate quarterly and annual progress reports, and support data collection on key performance indicators.
• Liaise with communication teams to plan joint visibility activities, support high‑level events, and draft communication briefs, case studies, and success stories.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience designing, managing, or advising digital education activities, preferably in multi‑country, international development contexts.
• Strong project management, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear guidance and reports.
