Regional Business Development Manager – West & Central Africa

About the role

As the Regional Manager for Business Development covering West and Central Africa, you will lead Zepz’s expansion across the UEMOA (XOF) and CEMAC (XAF) zones. You will be responsible for building new remittance corridors, optimizing existing ones, and navigating complex regulatory environments to drive commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new partnership opportunities with banks, fintechs and payment providers.
• Structure and negotiate complex deals, ensuring compliance with BCEAO and BEAC regulations.
• Manage and grow existing corridors to maximize transaction volume and revenue.
• Lead market analysis and develop go‑to‑market strategies for high‑growth financial products.
• Represent Zepz in regional industry events and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within the remittance, payments or FX wholesale sector.
• Deep understanding of Central African and West African financial regulations.
• Strong autonomy, strategic thinking and ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent French and English communication skills.
