Regional Finance Manager – Global, based in Dakar

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Regional Finance Manager to join its headquarters team in Dakar. The role will oversee financial reporting and management for IMPACT‑managed activities across Central and West Africa, ensuring compliance with donor and local regulations while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality financial reporting and analysis to senior management, including budget follow‑up, allocation tables and master budgets.
• Lead strategic financial planning, funding gap analysis and financial prognosis for the regional portfolio.
• Supervise pooled Country Finance Officers, assign tasks, review outputs and ensure timely delivery of financial reports and budgets.
• Collaborate with Multi‑Country Representatives, Country Representatives/Coordinators and HQ finance teams to align financial management with program objectives.
• Maintain liaison with ACTED Finance team for programs hosted by ACTED, ensuring proper expense tracking and compliance.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with experience in donor‑funded programmes and multi‑country operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial management policies, local regulations and donor requirements.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate finance teams across several countries.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
