Regional Finance Manager – Global, based in Dakar

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Regional Finance Manager to join its headquarters team in Dakar. The role will oversee financial reporting and management for IMPACT‑managed activities across Central and West Africa, ensuring compliance with donor and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate financial reporting and analysis to support decision‑making for Multi‑Country Representatives, Country Representatives and senior management.
• Develop and monitor strategic financial plans, budgets, allocation tables and master budgets for the region.
• Conduct funding gap analyses, financial prognoses and strategic financial assessments for country programmes.
• Lead and coordinate a pool of Country Finance Officers, assigning tasks, reviewing outputs and ensuring timely delivery of financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with IMPACT and donor rules, as well as local financial legislation.
• Liaise regularly with the ACTED finance team when programmes are hosted by ACTED.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial management within international development or NGOs.
• Experience supervising finance teams across multiple countries.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior managers, donors and local partners.
