Regional Finance Manager - Global, based in Dakar

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Regional Finance Manager to join its headquarters team in Dakar. The role will oversee financial reporting and management for IMPACT‑managed activities across Central and West Africa, ensuring compliance with donor and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate, high‑quality financial reports for regional programmes.
• Ensure sound financial management of activities in line with IMPACT and donor rules.
• Provide oversight and guidance to finance teams in each operating country.
• Contribute to the development of strategic and operational plans for country and regional programmes.
• Maintain financial policies, practices and systems that meet local legal requirements and donor expectations.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial management and reporting within an international or donor‑funded environment.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements and ability to work across multiple African countries.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
