Regional Finance Manager – Global (Dakar)

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Regional Finance Manager to join its headquarters team in Dakar, Senegal. The role will oversee financial reporting and management for IMPACT‑managed activities across Central and West Africa, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and local regulations while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate financial reporting and analysis to senior management, including budget follow‑up, allocation tables, and master budgets.
• Conduct strategic financial analyses such as funding gap assessments and financial prognoses for country programs and the regional hub.
• Lead and coordinate a pool of Country Finance Officers, assigning tasks, reviewing outputs, and ensuring timely delivery of financial reports and budgets.
• Collaborate with Multi‑Country Representatives, Country Representatives/Coordinators, and HQ finance teams to align financial management with program objectives.
• Liaise regularly with the ACTED Finance team when IMPACT/REACH programs are hosted by ACTED.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial management within international development or non‑profit contexts.
• Strong understanding of donor regulations, local financial laws, and best practices in financial reporting.
• Ability to work across multiple countries, manage diverse teams, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior management and field staff.
