Remote Youth Leadership Development Internship

About the role

We are looking for motivated interns to support Kuelimika Kwa Africa’s mission of fostering youth leadership and good governance across the continent. Working remotely, you will help design and deliver programmes that empower young people to become ethical, inclusive leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structured research on leadership, governance and related topics and summarise findings.
• Assist in planning, coordinating and executing virtual events, workshops and webinars.
• Create and edit content for social media, newsletters and educational materials.
• Collaborate with team members in online meetings and contribute to ongoing projects.
• Monitor programme activities and prepare regular reports.

Required profile

• Strong interest in African leadership, governance, youth development and social impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a full‑time remote environment.
• Enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant field of study (e.g., social sciences, political science, development studies, communications) is a plus.
• Previous volunteer or community‑engagement experience is an advantage.
