About the role

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) is seeking two motivated Research Assistants to support ongoing projects in biotechnology, microbiology, biological sciences, animal sciences, and social sciences. This full‑time position offers a valuable opportunity for early‑career researchers to develop their expertise while contributing to cutting‑edge research.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior researchers in designing and executing experiments.
• Collect, process, and analyze biological samples.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Document experimental procedures and results accurately.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and research papers as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Animal Sciences or related field.
• Strong academic background with a focus on laboratory research.
• Eligibility to work in the public sector or through university channels.

Required skills

• Knowledge of biotechnology techniques.
• Proficiency in microbiology methods.
• Understanding of biological and animal science concepts.
• Ability to work with social science data where applicable.
