About the role

We are seeking a Safety, Environment & Social Manager to support a client in the construction of an electric terminal in Senegal. The role will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities comply with applicable safety, environmental and social standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies and procedures for the project.
• Conduct risk assessments, site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with local and international regulations related to safety, environment and social impact.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and local authorities to ensure safe and sustainable work practices.
• Prepare and present regular HSE performance reports to the client and project stakeholders.
• Promote a safety culture through training, awareness campaigns and incident investigations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety, environment or social management, preferably within construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage HSE aspects of large‑scale infrastructure works.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Senegal.
