Route Service Representative

About the role

The Route Service Representative (RSR) is the face of Simple, delivering reliable linen solutions to healthcare facilities while building strong customer relationships and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned healthcare accounts.
• Deliver clean linen and related products while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collect and transport soiled linen following safety and infection‑prevention procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and proactively communicate customer needs.
• Identify revenue‑growth opportunities and support customer retention initiatives.
• Maintain route schedules, optimize daily stops, and complete vehicle inspections and documentation.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of customer service, route sales, delivery or related experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted and handle linen carts.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Experience using handheld technology, route‑management software or CRM systems.
