Senior Geotechnical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead and manage comprehensive geotechnical investigations for infrastructure and construction projects. The role involves overseeing field testing, laboratory analysis, and the design of subgrade layers, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and delivering clear technical reports.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise geotechnical investigation campaigns, including SPT and CPT field tests.
• Conduct laboratory testing such as CBR, Atterberg limits, Proctor compaction, and particle size analysis.
• Interpret test results and design subgrade and foundation layers in accordance with NF P 94 and Eurocode 7.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations and design documentation for clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain liaison with project teams, clients, and regulatory authorities throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Geology or Geotechnical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in geotechnical investigations and subgrade design.
• Strong knowledge of NF P 94 and Eurocode 7 standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
