Senior Research Officer – MSNA Training & Learning (Dakar)

About the role

The Senior Research Officer will join the Global MSNA Team of the Research Systems Unit, based in Dakar. The role focuses on training, learning and country support for Multi‑Sector Needs Assessments (MSNAs) and involves regular collaboration with headquarters and field locations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide training and learning support for the Global MSNA programme.
• Support country teams in the delivery of Multi‑Sector Needs Assessments.
• Coordinate with the MSNA Training and Learning unit and other partners.
• Travel up to 30 % of the time to headquarters and MSNA field locations.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in research, data collection and analysis within humanitarian contexts.
• Familiarity with Multi‑Sector Needs Assessments and the humanitarian planning cycle.
• Ability to work from the Dakar regional office and collaborate with international teams.
