Senior Signalling and Safety Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Signalling and Safety Engineer to lead the design and safety management of railway signalling systems. The role combines technical expertise in block and interlocking design with responsibility for ensuring safe ground‑to‑train communication across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Design railway block and signalling technologies, including interlocking systems.
• Prepare detailed layouts for level crossings.
• Oversee ground‑to‑train communication solutions.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
• Provide expert guidance on process safety management for railway operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Telecom Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in blockwork, interlocking design, and level crossing projects.
• Strong familiarity with RGS, CENELEC, and UIC standards.
• Fluent French language skills.
• Preferably a Senegal national.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
