Site Manager – Mining Equipment Services

About the role

The Site Manager will be responsible and accountable for overall site management, including assembly works, service support to the customer, and the maintenance contract. The role requires high performance in coordinating operations, people, and safety on a mining equipment service site.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and manage the service agreement, invoicing, and daily representation of BIA.
• Lead people management: enforce policies, handle industrial relations, drive training, and coordinate workers’ committee meetings.
• Oversee maintenance activities: planning, equipment monitoring, failure analysis, fleet availability, and compliance with BIA maintenance systems.
• Manage warranty and field campaigns: communicate with product support, process warranty claims, and recover costs.
• Ensure QHSE compliance: identify hazards, implement solutions, conduct training, report KPIs, and lead incident investigations.

Required profile

• Higher technical diploma in mechanical, electromechanical or related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager or equivalent.
• Successful first experience working in Africa.
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office); ERP knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English.
