Site Procurement Manager (LNG Projects)

About the role

GasEntec is seeking a Site Procurement Manager to lead procurement and logistics activities on its LNG project site in Senegal. The role ensures timely delivery of materials, equipment and services while maintaining strict compliance with internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all site‑level procurement, rentals and services in accordance with GET procedures.
• Control material receiving, storage, issuance and reconciliation, maintaining traceability records.
• Coordinate import and shipping deliveries with headquarters procurement and freight forwarders, and follow up on customs clearance.
• Prepare and issue RFQs for local subcontractors, evaluate bids and support selection.
• Maintain vendor and subcontractor documentation required for site acceptance (Certificates of Conformity, test certificates, packing lists).
• Monitor critical material inventories for construction work fronts and proactively expedite shortages.
• Support subcontractor invoicing and close‑out of procurement actions.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of procurement or material‑control experience on EPC or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of site material control processes (GRN, MRR, warehouse, issuance/return) and inventory reconciliation.
• Experience with local procurement in West Africa or similar environments is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple RFQs and commercial comparisons with clear documentation.
• Excellent communication with vendors, freight forwarders and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP or material‑management systems.
