SRHR Advocacy Impact Assessment & Capacity Building Consultant

About the role

Save the Children is seeking a consultant to lead the assessment of its SRHR advocacy interventions and support capacity‑building activities for women and girls’ rights organisations in Mali, Niger and Sierra Leone. The role will contribute to the final phase of the FOUNDATIONS project, ensuring that advocacy gains are sustained and that evidence informs future policy and programming.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct impact assessments of SRHR advocacy activities at national and regional levels.
• Support the collective capacity building of local women and girls’ rights organisations to influence policy and hold duty‑bearers accountable.
• Facilitate knowledge‑sharing and learning spaces with partners such as the International Rescue Committee, ODI and the West African Feminist Network.
• Provide technical guidance on gender‑responsive, adolescent‑friendly SRHR services and advocacy strategies.
• Document lessons learned and produce evidence‑based recommendations for future interventions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) advocacy.
• Strong understanding of gender‑transformative and rights‑based approaches.
• Experience working with NGOs, civil‑society organisations and government stakeholders in West Africa.
• Ability to work in a multi‑country, multi‑partner environment.
