Student Assistant – Vendor Management Internship

About the role

Join Maersk as a Student Assistant / Intern in Vendor Management and gain hands‑on experience supporting logistics service providers. You will work with experienced professionals to monitor vendor performance, assist in data analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in tracking vendor performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Collect, validate, and analyse vendor performance data.
• Support weekly and monthly vendor performance review meetings.
• Prepare vendor scorecards, dashboards, and performance reports.
• Monitor daily transport and logistics vendor activities and follow up on operational issues.
• Maintain vendor action logs, continuous‑improvement plans, and onboarding documentation.
• Track vendor compliance documents such as permits, licenses, and insurance certificates.
• Generate KPI reports on on‑time delivery, transit time compliance, safety, claim management, capacity utilization, and cost performance.
• Attend vendor meetings, record minutes, and follow up on agreed actions.
• Support operational audits, process‑improvement projects, and SOP implementation.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Previous internship experience is advantageous but not required.
