Supply Chain Internship

About the role

The Supply Chain Intern will support the management of resource functions for IOM in Senegal, working under the Supply Chain Officer and the Officer‑In‑Charge of the Dakar Country office. This position offers exposure to procurement and logistics processes within an international organization dedicated to migration.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing resource‑management functions in Senegal in accordance with IOM policies, standards and commitments.
• Support the consolidation of procurement processes and related documentation.
• Coordinate with relevant units at the mission and Administrative Centres to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Age between 20 and 36 years.
• Less than two years of relevant work experience.
• Enrolled in the final academic year of a Bachelor’s degree or graduated within the last 12 months.
• Interest or academic background in areas relevant to IOM programmes and activities.
• Holding a scholarship for internship placements in international organisations, or sponsorship by a governmental, non‑governmental or academic institution.
