Supply Chain Management Associate – Global Malaria Commodity Access

About the role

CHAI is seeking a motivated Supply Chain Management Associate to support its Global Malaria Commodity Backstop Fund. The associate will work closely with country teams, government partners, suppliers and regional stakeholders to ensure timely access to malaria commodities.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse procurement and stock level data for malaria commodities across target countries.
• Compare commodity data with donor‑provided stock and order information to identify potential stock‑outs.
• Coordinate with country teams, ministries of health, suppliers and distributors to mitigate identified gaps.
• Support reporting and data visualization for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the operational planning of the Commodity Backstop Fund.

Required profile

• Highly motivated individual with strong interest in supply chain and public health.
• Ability to work directly with multi‑country teams and external partners.
• Experience or academic background in supply chain management, logistics, public health, or related fields.
