Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager will report to the General Manager and provide strategic direction for procurement, warehousing, logistics and inventory control at the Sabodala mining site. The role ensures uninterrupted, cost‑effective operations while governing commercial contracts and optimizing working capital.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end procurement function, from sourcing to delivery, and resolve non‑conformance and payment issues.
• Develop, improve and execute procurement plans, procedures and documentation.
• Identify and maintain a list of approved suppliers, supporting internal customers with material and spare‑part requirements.
• Ensure strict compliance with corporate governance and purchasing policies, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Develop key performance indicators, monitor budgets for procurement and inventory, and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Manage warehousing and logistics activities, overseeing daily inventory control and site logistics.
• Respond to supplier complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Promote local content by developing a procurement plan that increases market share for local and national companies.

Required profile

• Reporting directly to the General Manager.
• Proven ability to lead procurement and supply‑chain functions.
• Experience developing procurement plans, KPIs and managing budgets.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance and purchasing policies.
