Supply Chain Officer (P)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Supply Chain Officer (P) to join its Regional Office in Dakar. Reporting to the Deputy Regional Director (Management) and the Regional Supply Chain Officer, the incumbent will support the delivery of quality goods and services to beneficiaries across the region, ensuring optimal price and timely execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate supply chain activities in line with IOM’s SCM objectives.
• Contribute to strategic planning for supply‑chain related actions of the Regional Office and Country Offices.
• Conduct logistics capacity assessments and market research to keep decision‑makers informed of local market trends.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the Supply Chain Division at Headquarters.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and monitor performance of suppliers.

Required profile

• Eligibility as a first‑tier candidate (internal staff or candidates from non‑represented IOM Member States) or second‑tier external candidate.
• Commitment to IOM’s values of inclusivity, respect and professionalism.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and engage with partners at regional and global levels.
