Topographer – On-site Surveying in Fatick

About the role

We are looking for a Topographer to join our construction team in Fatick, Senegal. The successful candidate will work full-time on-site, providing accurate land and site surveys that support the planning and execution of our infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct topographic surveys and record land features using total stations, GPS receivers and levels.
• Process survey data with specialised software and produce detailed maps, plans and reports.
• Assist engineers and site managers in setting out works, verifying design alignment with ground conditions.
• Monitor site levels, boundaries and earthworks throughout the construction phase.
• Maintain organised records of all survey data and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in Topography, Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in topographic surveying on construction sites, preferably in Senegal or similar environments.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and problem-solving abilities in field conditions.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to on-site safety and local regulatory compliance.
