Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Helios Towers is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations in Dakar, Senegal. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee the logistics service provider, ensure accurate inventory handling, and maintain safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the warehouse team, fostering collaboration with other departments.
• Produce daily reports to support timely management decisions.
• Support operational objectives, propose improvements, and assess their impact.
• Ensure compliance with eight core warehouse processes, including receiving, dispatch, returns, quarantine, disposal, buffer stock, refurbishment, and stock counts.
• Conduct daily team meetings, track actions, and follow up on outcomes.
• Plan warehouse space, resources, and equipment based on operational needs.
• Coordinate with the SCM team to track shipments and anticipate workload.
• Communicate deliveries, share packing lists or purchase orders, and prepare handling teams.
• Supervise material receipt, verifying against purchase orders or material requests, especially for kits.
