AI in a Box Fellow – Implementation Coordinator

About the role

UNDP Senegal, in partnership with the UNDP Seoul Policy Centre, is seeking an AI in a Box Fellow to lead the implementation of its offline‑edge AI pilot with the Ministry of Justice. The fellow will coordinate day‑to‑day activities, ensure smooth logistics, and serve as the main communication bridge between UNDP, the Ministry and the technical team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily relations with the Ministry of Justice and other local partners.
• Coordinate operational logistics for the deployment of edge AI devices.
• Track implementation progress against the pilot timeline and deliverables.
• Facilitate communication and information flow between UNDP Senegal, the Ministry, and the USPC technical team.
• Support the set‑up of AI‑assisted extraction and indexing pipelines for scanned judicial documents.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination or implementation within a government or international development context.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (French is an asset).
• Interest in AI‑enabled document digitisation and offline computing solutions.
