Finance Internship – Bank Accounting Compliance

About the role

The Finance Internship at SLB supports the Compliance Treasury Analyst in ensuring bank accounting compliance and the accuracy of financial statements related to bank accounts. Based in Dakar, Senegal, the role offers recent graduates hands‑on experience in bank account management and financial analysis within a global energy‑technology company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the finance team with profit and loss, balance sheet, and non‑financial metric analysis.
• Support day‑to‑day accounting tasks and preparation of standard reports such as monthly financial analysis.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and monthly updates.
• Research best practices, propose recommendations, and help implement process improvements.
• Collaborate with country finance and business partners to enhance efficiency in bank account management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Recent graduate, no more than two years post‑graduation.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Quick learner with the ability to translate knowledge into practical solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
