O&M Operator - Kolda

About the role

Renvolt is expanding its presence in Senegal and seeks a skilled Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Operator to support the Kolda solar photovoltaic site. Reporting to the O&M Site Manager, the operator will ensure rapid response, local support, and efficient on‑site operations for both green‑space maintenance and solar‑plant equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain green spaces within solar photovoltaic plants, including mowing and landscaping.
• Operate, service, and maintain agricultural and gardening machinery such as tractors, implements, and brush cutters.
• Run photovoltaic module cleaning equipment, including cleaning robots, pressing machines, and manual brushes.
• Provide transversal support to the O&M team and ensure availability of tools and equipment.
• Maintain common areas, access routes, and ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Perform physical site work and obtain required medical fitness certification.

Required profile

• Knowledge of large‑area deforestation and its impact.
• Experience handling agricultural and gardening machines.
• Ability to support operation and maintenance of photovoltaic solar plants.
• Willingness to travel within Senegal as needed.
• Computer literacy from an end‑user perspective.
• Valid Senegalese driving licence.
