Regional Finance Manager – Global, based in Dakar

About the role

The Regional Finance Manager will be based in Dakar and will oversee financial reporting and management for IMPACT‑initiated programmes across Central and West Africa. The role combines strategic analysis, compliance oversight, and team leadership to ensure donor and organisational requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure high‑quality, accurate financial reporting for all IMPACT‑managed activities in the region.
• Maintain compliance with IMPACT policies, donor regulations, and local laws.
• Provide financial information and strategic analysis (budget follow‑up, allocation tables, master budget, funding gap analysis) to senior management and country representatives.
• Act as the principal finance business partner to the Senior Management Team, including Multi‑Country Representatives and Country Coordinators.
• Line‑manage pooled Country Finance Officers, assign tasks, review outputs and ensure timely delivery of financial reports and budgets.
• Liaise regularly with the ACTED Finance team when programmes are hosted by ACTED.
• Support the development of strategic and operational plans for country and regional programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in regional finance management, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector.
• Strong knowledge of donor compliance, financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate finance teams across multiple countries.
• Excellent analytical skills to provide strategic financial insights.
