Performance & Grants Coordinator – Dakar, Senegal

About the role

The Forum des ONG en Afrique de l'Ouest et centrale (FONGA) is seeking a Performance & Grants Coordinator to support its regional secretariat in Dakar. The role will help strengthen FONGA’s performance monitoring, grant management and accountability systems as the platform expands across 12 West and Central African countries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain performance monitoring tools and dashboards for member NGOs.
• Manage the full grant cycle, from proposal review to disbursement, reporting and financial compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to donors, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Support the Director and regional secretariat in strategic planning, data analysis and decision‑making.
• Coordinate with national and regional NGO forums to align performance and grant processes.
• Provide training and technical assistance to members on monitoring and grant management procedures.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in performance monitoring, grant management or accountability within the humanitarian, development or NGO sector.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple countries and cultures.
