About the role

The client, a leading industrial company in Dakar, is seeking a Junior Management Controller to support both industrial and commercial cost management functions. You will work closely with accounting, operations, and sales teams to ensure accurate cost tracking, analysis, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain dashboards tracking product cost of goods for quarry operations.
• Monitor specific consumption of workshops and equipment.
• Develop a cost‑tracking model for aggregates by granulometry.
• Produce analytical reports using Power BI and present monthly performance summaries.
• Cross‑check collected data with operational team inputs and act as liaison between accounting and operations.
• Identify variances against budgets, propose corrective action plans and follow up on implementation.
• Analyze delivery and invoicing processes, map sales by depot, product and client type.
• Track product and depot margins, monitor client receivables and contribute to credit policy definition.
• Facilitate communication between finance and commercial teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac + 4/5) in Business, Finance or Management Control.
• 2–5 years of experience in management control, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Strong accounting and financial knowledge.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Power BI for data visualization.
• Advanced Excel/spreadsheet skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and database reporting.
• Solid data‑analysis capabilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently on‑site.
