Finance Analyst – Africa Finance (Dakar)

About the role

At the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, the Finance Analyst will join Africa Finance in Dakar to provide finance business partnering support to regional operational teams and contribute to management reporting, analytics, and technology‑enabled finance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support assigned operational teams in budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Monitor budget utilization, identify risks and opportunities, and prepare financial analyses, reports, and presentations.
• Produce recurring budget, workforce, and management reporting outputs.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, analytical tools, and business intelligence products.
• Support automation, process improvement, and AI‑enabled finance initiatives while promoting data quality and consistent reporting practices.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, data analytics or a related field.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial analysis or resource management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills with ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Commitment to results, continuous learning and innovation; excellent English (French desirable).
