Operations & Maintenance Site Manager (Kolda, Senegal)

About the role

Renvolt is expanding its renewable energy footprint in Senegal and seeks an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Site Manager to lead on‑site activities at its Kolda solar plant. Reporting to the O&M Offshore Project Manager, you will ensure rapid troubleshooting, efficient maintenance, and strong health‑safety leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide fast on‑site and remote troubleshooting and implement fault‑recovery solutions to restore production.
• Execute specialized technical maintenance and support commissioning & start‑up activities.
• Conduct on‑site technical assessments and produce detailed reports for claim processes.
• Deliver training workshops to build maintenance competence across the team.
• Develop and improve maintenance management processes, documentation, and best‑practice tools.
• Participate in reliability studies, failure analysis, and audit of implemented procedures.
• Represent employees on health, safety, and environmental matters; chair SHE committee meetings and support incident investigations.

Required profile

• Degree or Master in Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering.
• Government certificate authorising operation of electrical power plants.
• Medical fitness for physical site work and a valid Senegal driver’s license.
• Proven experience in commissioning and maintaining photovoltaic power plants.
• Strong background in electronics, automation fault detection, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA, remote‑control, data acquisition and communications systems (preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, reporting tools, and English (reading, writing, speaking).
