Program Manager II – MCH & Nutrition (Local Contract)

About the role

You will lead the overall management, coordination, and operational steering of the CGPP MCH & Nutrition program in Senegal, ensuring high‑quality implementation that aligns with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) standards, donor requirements, and CGPP guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout the program cycle, from design to close‑out.
• Supervise and develop program staff, manage team dynamics, and conduct performance management.
• Identify learning opportunities, drive research, and disseminate best practices within the agency.
• Lead proposal development, contribute to budgeting and staffing plans, and pursue new funding opportunities.
• Oversee technical assistance, capacity‑strengthening activities, and partnership development.
• Ensure timely and compliant project expenditures and effective coordination with health system structures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, medicine, health economics or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant field project management experience in health, with at least 3 years in maternal‑child health (MCH) and nutrition.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, budgets, and donor‑driven programs.
