Senior Malaria Advisor – LEAP Global (Senegal)

About the role

The Senior Malaria Advisor will be embedded within Senegal's National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) and the Ministry of Health to provide technical leadership for life‑saving malaria prevention and treatment services. The role aligns with the new U.S. Presidential Executive Order directives and supports the LEAP Global initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and management of national malaria programs and projects.
• Develop and advise on Senegalese malaria policies, integrating best practices.
• Identify programmatic bottlenecks and coordinate technical solutions.
• Build capacity of NMCP teams and facilitate integration of innovative approaches.
• Establish and oversee a digital platform for real‑time monitoring of health products and malaria control inputs.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level expertise in digital transformation for health programs.
• Strong background in health information systems, logistics management, and health product supply chains.
• Experience supporting national infectious disease programs, preferably malaria.
• Ability to provide strategic and operational guidance to government stakeholders.
