Social Media Manager

About the role

Zipline is looking for a highly creative Social Media Manager to join its marketing and communications team. You will develop and execute social‑media strategies across TikTok, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn for Rwanda, Pan‑Africa and global audiences, showcasing the company’s impact.

Key responsibilities

• Create entertaining, shareable content optimized for each platform’s audience and algorithm.
• Produce fun, educational short‑form videos that support Zipline’s mission of equitable logistics.
• Conceptualize, script, shoot and edit short‑form video content for social channels in Rwanda and across Africa.
• Lead large‑scale content campaigns with creators and animated characters.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to promote product features, launches and brand initiatives.
• Iterate short‑form video strategy through quantitative analysis and frequent content experiments.

Required profile

• Strong creative mindset with a passion for storytelling.
• Experience creating and managing content on multiple social platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively across product, marketing and communications teams.
• Data‑driven approach to measuring and improving content performance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with TikTok, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Short‑form video production, including scripting, shooting and editing.
