Country Manager - Senegal

About the role

The Country Manager will lead the commercial operations for a pharmaceutical portfolio in Senegal, driving growth across multiple channels and ensuring successful market access for new and existing products.

Key responsibilities

• Execute commercial strategies, including medico‑marketing programs, operational planning, brand management and product launches.
• Deliver revenue and profit targets, achieving ex‑BSV and in‑country revenue objectives and net marketing contribution.
• Inspire and align the sales team to create demand for BSV brands and expand customer coverage.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, competition and emerging opportunities.
• Prepare and control sales, expense and marketing budgets; produce monthly MIS reports and forecasts.
• Lead stakeholder management with HCPs, KOLs, distributors, regulatory authorities, government procurement bodies and internal cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or marketing.
• Fluent French language proficiency.
• Strong understanding of the Senegal, Mali and Guinea pharma markets, including trade, tender processes and product registration.
• Experience with critical‑care, women’s health or IVF products is preferred.
• Established relationships with KOLs/KBLs in relevant therapeutic areas.
