Country Operations Lead – Senegal

About the role

AfroQuality is looking for a highly driven Country Operations Lead to build and scale its Senegal operations. The role bridges retail, technology and trade, ensuring seamless integration of physical stores with AfroQuality’s digital trade infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver country revenue and commercial growth targets.
• Lead day‑to‑day retail operations and store performance.
• Manage inventory accuracy across physical stores, POS systems and the AfroTrader platform.
• Coordinate artisan onboarding, product catalog management and cross‑border stock movement.
• Develop B2B partnerships with retailers and drive new distribution channels.
• Oversee logistics, inventory transfers, compliance and store maintenance.
• Ensure operational discipline, financial performance reporting and team accountability.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, multi‑store management, supply chain, logistics or commerce platforms.
• Fluency in English, French and Wolof.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of retail unit economics.
• Proven ability to operate at the intersection of retail, technology, trade and distribution.
• Highly organized, execution‑focused and comfortable taking ownership in a fast‑growing environment.

Required skills

• Experience with POS systems.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with the AfroTrader digital trade platform.
