Graphic Designer & Digital Communication Consultant (3.5‑month contract)

About the role

The Graphic Designer and Digital Communication Consultant will support the Regional Communications Unit and WCARO Directorate in creating high‑quality visual communication materials, reports and event branding, while ensuring strict compliance with UNFPA visual identity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and layout of regional publications, including thematic reports, the 2026 annual report, policy briefs and brochures.
• Create infographics and visual charts that translate complex demographic, health and gender data into clear, engaging visuals.
• Develop digital communication assets such as web banners, social media graphics, animated GIFs and quote cards in both French and English.
• Produce event branding and exhibition materials, including logos, colour palettes, roll‑up banners, stage backdrops, badges and promotional items.
• Ensure all graphic products comply with UNFPA visual identity standards and maintain an organized archive of source files.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education (Baccalauréat) and a university degree or Master’s in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or Digital Marketing.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in graphic design, UI/UX design or visual communication.
• Fluency in spoken and written French; working knowledge of English.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high‑quality outputs.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Proficiency with Canva Pro.
• Experience designing infographics, digital assets and event branding.
• UI/UX design experience for digital platforms.
