Head of Network

About the role

LuoLuo is a fast‑growing fintech that enables African businesses to pay international suppliers quickly, transparently and cost‑effectively. The Head of Network owns the end‑to‑end partner ecosystem that moves funds from customers through collectors, local banks and FX brokers across francophone Africa. This commercial, operational and structuring role is critical to the company’s economics and requires frequent travel across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Own and negotiate partner relationships with collectors, banks and FX counterparties, building a leverage map to optimise terms.
• Compress treasury and settlement delays across the full payment flow, set service‑level agreements and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Manage concentration risk, reducing over‑dependence on any single partner group while protecting high‑performing corridors.
• Lead market expansion by identifying new payment rails, negotiating entry terms and building infrastructure from scratch.
• Operate autonomously on the ground, coordinating closely with the CEO, treasury and operations teams.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in banking, payments, treasury, correspondent banking or PSP/mobile‑money operations in francophone Africa.
• Deep practical knowledge of fund flows in the UEMOA (XOF) and CEMAC (XAF) zones, including collectors, local banks, SWIFT messaging and settlement mechanics.
• Strong commercial acumen – able to negotiate with banks or collectors and ensure day‑to‑day execution.
• Comfortable working with data, turning partner‑performance metrics into actionable priorities.
• Fluent in French and professional English, with willingness to travel regularly across the region.
