HSE Supervisor – Combined Cycle Power Plant (O&M)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to join our Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) during its Operation & Maintenance phase. You will be responsible for implementing and continuously improving health, safety and environmental standards across the site, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and enhance the company’s HSE policies and procedures on‑site.
• Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Organise and facilitate legally required HSE committee meetings and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Plan, deliver and record onboarding and periodic HSE training programmes.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, perform root‑cause analysis and develop preventive action plans.
• Lead emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation and fire drills.
• Define PPE requirements, monitor compliance and ensure proper usage.
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, performance records and KPIs.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits.

Required profile

• At least one internationally recognised HSE certification (NEBOSH or IOSH).
• Professional proficiency in French, English and Wolof (written and spoken); Turkish is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of on‑site HSE experience in industrial, construction or energy generation environments.
• Strong knowledge of applicable HSE regulations, legislation and compliance procedures.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, emergency response planning, incident investigations and RCA.
• Experience delivering HSE training with excellent presentation skills.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
