MEA Module Sales Manager – Senegal

About the role

The MEA Module Sales Manager will lead sales activities for solar modules in Senegal, building strong customer relationships and expanding market presence. This role requires deep product knowledge of Trina Solar solutions and the ability to drive revenue through effective sales cycles and tender processes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with local customers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to enter new markets.
• Organise and attend conferences, trade shows, training sessions and other industry events.
• Present Trina Solar products and services with strong technical knowledge.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including pricing negotiation, contract closure and revenue collection.
• Lead tender bidding processes and coordinate legal, technical and commercial documentation.
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Liaise with internal teams and customers to resolve inquiries, issues and complaints.
• Monitor competitor pricing, activities and market strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant, customer‑facing experience.
• Experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry, preferably utility‑scale projects.
• Prior exposure to Chinese factories or manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Business, Finance or Engineering.
• Fluent in English and French.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
