O&M Field Engineer – Kolda

About the role

Renvolt is expanding its operations in Senegal and seeks an O&M Field Engineer to provide on‑site and remote support for its Kolda facility. Reporting to the O&M Site Manager, you will ensure rapid fault recovery, maintain high‑voltage equipment, and support photovoltaic plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fast on‑site and remote troubleshooting and implement fault recovery solutions.
• Carry out specialized technical maintenance on HV substations and photovoltaic power plants.
• Participate in integrated commissioning and start‑up activities.
• Conduct on‑site technical assessments and produce detailed reports for claim processes.
• Deliver training workshops to build maintenance competence.
• Develop and improve maintenance management processes, documentation, and best‑practice standards.
• Contribute to reliability studies, failure analysis, and audit of implemented procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Degree or Master in Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Electrical) with experience in HV substation maintenance.
• Proven experience in commissioning and maintaining photovoltaic power plants.
• Ability to work on physical sites and obtain a medical fitness certificate.
• Experience with SCADA, remote control, data acquisition and communications systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Valid Senegal driver’s license.
